This blending seminar offers a unique opportunity to experience Malbec from five different sub-regions within Mendoza\, Argentina. Participants will have the opportunity to create their own signature blend and sample wines from these diverse terroirs under the guidance of expert educator Ann Marie Sgroi. \nUpon arrival\, guests will be greeted with a flight of the Alta Chardonnay and Alta Cabernet and hear about the Catena estate and the region of Mendoza. \nAfterwards\, guests will each be provided with five samples– or components of the individual wines- that make up the Catena Alta Malbec. Through tasting\, Ann Marie will teach us about how the different altitudes\, soils\, and microclimates affect each of the different components despite the fact they are all the same clone\, vintage and vinified the same way. \nThen\, we let you create a glass of your own Malbec blend and compare it to the Catena Alta Malbec! Guests will get to use graduated cylinders and blending kits to achieve their perfect wine. \nEnd the evening with a sip of the Malbec Argentino\, an epic wine which tells the tale of the noble Malbec grape’s journey like no other. \nGourmet cheeses and charcuterie included. \nSwag and giveaways as well. \nAnn Marie only comes into the market a handful of times and this blending seminar is one of their sought-after\, signature offerings. SUMMARY:Pop-up Exhibit with Sanjay Suchak and The Writing Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Sanjay Suchak is an American photographer known for his work with popular musical artists and global brands\, and for documenting issues of modern social justice. On Monday July 13th\, from 2 to 5pm\, The Eleventh Letter Writing Gallery welcomes Sanjay to Concord\, NH for a very special pop-up exhibit featuring his artwork. Visitors can chat with  him about his career and experiences\, peruse his work\, and purchase his photographs. The exhibit is free and open to the community. \nThis pop-up is part of a larger event in Concord taking place that same day\, July 13th. Wine on Main\, Blossom Yoga & Wellness\, and the East Coast Caravan Community are once again teaming up to co-host the 4th Annual “Day 0 Celebration in Bicentennial Square.”  \nThe “Day 0” celebration started in 2023 as a way to bring Dave Matthews Band fans together prior to their shows in Gilford\, NH. Today\, the party in the square is a full-fledged community event\, attracting not only visitors in town for the concerts but locals from Concord and the greater community as well. It is free\, family-friendly\, and open to the public. The celebration features yoga in Bicentennial Square\, wine tastings\, live music\, pop-up shops\, a food truck\, and more. \nSanjay has worked with Dave Matthews Band since 2017 as their official tour photographer. This is an exciting opportunity to hear about his life on the road with the band and to see more of his portfolio. We are so excited to welcome him to the event this year. \nIn addition to working with Dave Matthews Band and other musical artists\, Sanjay has pieces in many private collections\, the Spencer Museum of Art\, The Museum of Contemporary Art – Los Angeles\, The University of Virginia – Special Collections\, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame\, and others. He has created commercial commissions for clients\, ranging from banks to universities to nonprofits. The show won dozens of national\, regional\, and local awards\, and Laura’s NH Presidential Primary night coverage was picked up by NPR stations around the country. Before coming to NHPR\, Laura worked at the national level for NPR and other news outlets\, including the Canadian Broadcasting Company\, and WAMU-Washington. \nToday\, Laura is an in-demand interviewer\, moderator\, and narrator. She is Director of Community Engagement at UNH-Franklin Pierce School of Law. Her voice-over work includes a children’s book\, a travel app\, instructional videos\, and live performances of Christmas stories. She’s also the host of two podcasts\, including ReadLocalNH\, devoted to NH authors. Laura’s debut historical novel\, titled “The Shopkeeper of Alsace\,” was published in November 2025 by Bedazzled Ink\, a traditional publisher based in Northern California. \nIn her personal life\, Laura is a longtime fitness instructor at the Concord YMCA. She spends her free time outdoors\, reading\, or with friends\, while trying to avoid yardwork. She’s been married for thirty years and is mother to two young adult sons and one elderly cat. \nAbout Jocelyn Winn: \nJocelyn Winn is a professional writer and founder of The Eleventh Letter editorial services\, with a newly opened brick-and-mortar Writing Gallery at 146 North Main Street in downtown Concord! She is also the nonfiction editor for The Maine Review and works closely with the NH Book Festival\, NH Writer’s Project\, and Arts Alley.
