SUMMARY:March VIP Tasting: Tom Meadowcroft
DESCRIPTION:For our March VIP tasting\, we are excited to welcome winemaker Tom Meadowcroft from Meadowcroft Winery!  This will take place on Tuesday March 31st from 6-7:30pm. \n\n\nMeadowcroft is the namesake of winegrower Tom Meadowcroft.  Meadowcroft Wines specializes in premium European style wines\, produced from small family-owned vineyards within Sonoma and Napa County. \nTom Meadowcroft grew up working and traveling around Europe and the United States. Early in life\, he started his winemaking journey by working the harvest of 1979 in Bordeaux.  In 2000\, Tom Meadowcroft purchased a vineyard in Mount Veeder AVA in Napa.  The vineyard now produces numerous award-winning vintages.  It sits at 1\,200 feet elevation with sedimentary clay and volcanic soils and extremely steep slopes. It is typically above the fog line and produces vines with tiny berries\, intense flavor concentration and soft tannins. The Mount Veeder AVA is the only hillside appellation in Napa Valley that adjoins the cool\, bayside Carneros benefiting from the cooling influence of the San Pablo Bay. \nPlease note that this event is an exclusive offering for our VIP members.  To learn more\, you can email us at info@wineonmainnh.com. \nVIP members- Please RVSP here.

SUMMARY:Weingut Pfluger Wine Tasting with Winemaker Alex Pfluger
DESCRIPTION:A special wine tasting and class with winemaker Alex Pfluger\, joining us all the way from Germany.\n\n\n\nWeingut Pfluger produces premium German wines in vineyards located along the gentle hills of the Palatinate Forest and that run down to the Rhine valley. The family has farmed here for over 200 years. They see the vineyard as an independent organism full of life and complex relationships. As a result\, they practice organic\, biodynamic\, and natural farming that lets the terroir shine on its own. \nWinemaker and Owner Alex Pfluger is paying a special visit to Wine on Main this January. He joins us all the way from Germany so that he can introduce us to these high-end wines and taste them with us. \nJoin us for this special seminar where we’ll taste stunning selections from Pfluger and have a chance to interact with Alex directly. He’ll tell us stories from the vineyard and answer questions. Light snacks will be provided as well. \n$45pp and limited to 20 people. \nPurchase tickets here.
