Wine on Main will partner with Wine Smarties WSET Approved Program Provider #3217 to host WSET certification courses this February 2024! WSET is short for Wine Spirits Education & Education Trust.
Level I will take place over two evenings: Tuesday February 20 and Wednesday February 21 from 6-9pm. Details and sign-up here.
The Wine & Spirit Education Trust is an internationally recognized wine education program that was founded in London, England in 1969. The certifications are accepted worldwide which makes this a special opportunity and different from other wine classes. There are 5 levels in total and those who successfully complete all levels earn the coveted title of Master of Wine.
Speaking of Masters of Wine, there are only 418 of them in the world. We are lucky to welcome one of them, Lindsay Pomeroy, MW and owner of Wine Smarties, to teach us. She is an excellent instructor and I am here as a WSET alumni and resource as well.
