Welcome to Wine on Main

My name is Emma Stetson and I am excited to introduce myself as the owner of Wine on Main!

My passion for wine began over a decade ago.  I first studied wine at Cornell University and fell in love with it- the geography, the stories, the varietals.  I have pursued many sides of the industry since then.

In my earlier years living in Connecticut, I served as wine correspondent for a prominent regional website.  I also worked in restaurants which opened the door to a career in wine distribution.  After distributing for several years, I became the manager at a boutique wine store in New Canaan.  I earned the WSET Level 2 Award in Wine & Spirits and the WSET Level 3 Award in Wine from the International Wine Center in New York City during that time.

My husband and I moved to New Hampshire in 2018 where I started working for a wine distributor.  I had the opportunity to work with unique wines from around the world, many of which were small production and family-owned.  I went on to become Director of Operations there, which opened my eyes to other sides of the wine business, like logistics and importing.

When I’m not drinking wine, you’re likely to find me with my husband and our dogs, Pepper and Wizz.  We enjoy getting outdoors and exploring everything that New Hampshire has to offer.  You may also run into me at concerts- I love live music.
